LEARNING TO LOOK BEYOND THE VIEW

In Genesis 13, Lot lifted his eyes and saw an opportunity he could not resist.

It looked like an obvious choice. But that land was tied to the toxic influence of Sodom, a place whose hidden corruption would eventually cost Lot far more than he imagined.

Abram and Lot: A Study in Choices and Faith

Abram, the elder and the one with the primary call from God, demonstrates remarkable humility and generosity in his decision-making process. By offering Lot the first choice of land, Abram not only relinquishes his own rights but also exemplifies a profound trust in divine providence.
